3 words to sum-up your internal mobility?
Iryna: Growth. Impact. Communication.
What has been your career path at D-EDGE?
Iryna: My journey has been an exciting trip from giving the support to hotels, to the Level 2 Support, to the Product Expertise, to the Project Management and now I'm taking the role of Senior Product Manager.
If you had to explain your new role to a 5-years-old in one sentence, what would it be?
Iryna: The Product Manager is like a captain of the ship but instead of selling the ocean, I am guiding the Product from idea to something that people love to use! In this case, I make sure that the Product is serving the needs of our hotels. I listen to them, I try to understand what they need and I make sure that the Product is answering to their needs and I work closely with engineers and designers.
What factors have favored your internal mobility?
Iryna: I think I had very supportive managers and also colleagues because they were always supporting me and encouraging to take the challenge and I appreciate it very much! I also was provided by for several trainings so I learn a lot and also do a lot of self education so it was also one of the factors that helped me to to grow.
What key skills did you develop in your past job and how do you think they are helping you in your new role?
Iryna: I think I have developed very important skills that are helping me not only in my professional life but also in personal life. The first one was the problem solving because I had to troubleshoot different issues on different products and it teached me to have a look at the problem from different angles.
What impact has this internal mobility had on your professional and persona life?
Iryna: On my professional life, it had a lot of impact: I'm glad that D-EDGE invest in me, in my talent and it was recognized. It also help me to feel motivated to wake up every morning and to open my laptop with motivation and not with a bad mood!

Iryna: I would given an advice to believe in yourself! Go for the opportunities to make sure that you get the information about what the role requires and try to learn the skills, to gain the skills you need and if the door is not open yet just push it!
